Arise and Shine forth

For the upcoming new year in Young Womens, the theme is “Arise and shine forth, that thy light may be a standard for the nations” (Doctrine and Covenants 115:5). For the girl's birthdays this year, I decided to make these cute little gifttags, and put them on a candle to go along with the light theme.

What you will need:


-Any type of cute candle. (to go along with light theme)
I purchased the candles below from HERE.

 


-Printable gift tags.

 I printed these tags from HERE.



-Paper strips with the following quote:
"Arise, let your light shine forth."

I made these in Microsoft Word:

-Cardstock paper.

(Basically any cute color.. I used pink, blue and green)

-Tape/glue
-Scissors
-1.5in circle hole punch


1.With the hole punch, punch out cardstock circles.


2. Print off birthday tags, cut them out, glue/tape to cardstock circles.



3. Cut quotes into single strips and tape to the box with a gap in front. (where circle will go)

4. Glue or tape tag onto box, covering up the paper in front.
